The Island of Genetically Modified Crops & Animals
Just a brief thought about the assumptions, presuppositions, and conclusions in the Naturalistic Evolution vs. Intelligent Design debate:
Group A, genetic engineers, work on a small island, breeding genetically modified crops and livestock. They decide to leave the island and let things continue without them for a while.
During their absence, Group B, a group of biologists, visits in the island. They do not see any obvious indication that Group A was ever there. They examine the crops and livestock, and conclude that the crops and livestock evolved into their current state – that no intelligent design was involved.
Wouldn’t they be wrong?
What if the entire Earth is like that island?
