So often we hear that people have a right to a “living wage”, a right to health insurance, a right to “affordable” housing, even a right to never lose their job.
If you can get the following...
A steady, reliable income
Enough food to make you obese
Shelter with all of the trimmings
Health insurance, medical care, and medicines
Higher education
Entertainment
...without a job, then what is the incentive to work?
Or, if any job will get you those things, what is the incentive to push yourself, to take on more responsibility, to work harder, to innovate?
