Unless we continue to overpay unionized government employees, pay them long after the've stopped working, and pay for all of their health care costs in addition to what we pay for the salary and retirement, kids are going to be put to work in the coal mines 16 hours per day, 365 days a week, for $1 an hour and with no safety measures.
Does anyone really believe that?
